Following the crash, they were relieved to find that Zach’s injury, which required stitches, had missed hitting an artery. However, their relief was short-lived as a series of unfortunate events unfolded, adding to their distress. They encountered difficulties trying to leave for Arkansas, with their cat Mango escaping into the woods, prompting Zach to try to chase after her and bursting his stitches in the process.
As Brianna attempted to search for Mango in the woods, she found herself in a difficult and physically challenging situation, struggling with injuries and glass still in her body from the car crash. The harrowing experience of searching for their pet amidst barbed wire and thorns left Brianna emotionally drained. The couple eventually managed to find Mango, but the stress and lack of sleep from the journey to Arkansas took a toll on Brianna’s mental state.
The challenges continued for Zach and Brianna as their second cat, Ollie, also managed to escape from the bus the following day. In her vulnerable state, Brianna expressed her exhaustion and pain, both physically and emotionally, as a result of the recent events.
