Ace-Liam Ankrah, a Ghanaian toddler, has made history as the world’s youngest male artist, holding the Guinness World Record. His mother, Chantelle Kukua Eghan, who is also an artist and founder of Arts and Cocktails Studio in Ghana’s capital, Accra, revealed that the journey to this record began by accident when her son discovered acrylic paints at just 6 months old. With his mother’s encouragement, Ace-Liam began painting and eventually held his first exhibition at the Museum of Science and Technology in Accra, where nine out of 10 of his pieces were sold.

To break the previous record, Ace-Liam needed to exhibit and sell paintings, which he successfully accomplished. He was declared the world’s youngest male artist at the age of 1 year and 152 days. This achievement has not changed their lives, says Eghan, who plans to keep his first artwork, titled “The Crawl,” in the family. She hopes that Ace-Liam’s record will inspire other parents to discover and nurture their children’s talents.

Guinness World Records confirmed Ace-Liam’s record, making him the youngest male artist in the world. The previous overall record holder for the world’s youngest artist is India’s Arushi Bhatnagar, who held her first exhibition at 11 months old and sold her first painting for $60 in 2003. Ace-Liam, who will turn 2 years old in July, still enjoys painting and frequently accompanies his mother to her studio, where he has a designated area for his artwork.

Despite the media attention surrounding Ace-Liam’s achievement, Eghan remains focused on her son’s growth and development as an artist. She emphasizes that he is painting, growing, and playing during the process. Ace-Liam’s paintings are created in short, focused sessions that can span days or weeks. The toddler exhibits a mixture of excitement and concentration while painting, reflecting his passion for art.

Eghan’s hope is that Ace-Liam’s success will serve as an inspiration for other parents to cultivate their children’s talents. She believes that encouraging and nurturing children’s artistic abilities can lead to remarkable outcomes, such as the record-breaking achievement of her son. As they continue their journey in the art world, Eghan remains dedicated to supporting Ace-Liam’s artistic development and ensuring that he enjoys the process of creating art.

In conclusion, Ace-Liam Ankrah has set a new world record as the youngest male artist, showcasing his talent and passion for painting at just a year and a half old. With the support of his mother, Chantelle Kukua Eghan, Ace-Liam has managed to exhibit and sell his paintings, impressing audiences and Guinness World Records. As the youngest male artist in the world, Ace-Liam’s story serves as an inspiration for parents to recognize and nurture their children’s talents, fostering creativity and artistic expression from a young age.
