An AMBER Alert has been issued for a missing baby in Atlanta named Reya Clark, who is believed to be in extreme danger. The two-month-old was abducted by her father, Randy Bernard Clark, who does not have custody of her. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation issued a Levi’s Call, which is Georgia’s version of an AMBER Alert, on behalf of the Sandy Springs Police Department. Randy Clark is considered to be armed and dangerous, and the police do not have a description of the vehicle they may be in.

Reya Clark is described as 18 inches tall, weighing 15 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink t-shirt and a diaper. Randy Clark, who is 22 years old, is 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighs 250 pounds, and was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, pants, and blue slippers. According to reports from Fox 5 Atlanta, Randy Clark was accused of shooting at a relative last year, which led to police describing him as “armed and dangerous” following the violent confrontation. Authorities are urging anyone with information on the whereabouts of Reya Clark to contact 911 or the Sandy Springs Police Department.

Levi’s Call is an investigative tool that can be activated only by local law enforcement in Georgia, through a request to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. If an abduction is confirmed and investigators determine that the case meets the Alert Criteria, they contact the GBI, which then verifies the alert and works with the local investigator to draft an Alert Bulletin. Levi’s Call was named after 11-year-old Levi Frady, who was murdered in 1997, and police are still searching for his killer. An AMBER Alert is an emergency response system that shares information about child abductions to mobilize the public in locating the child. The acronym “AMBER” stands for “America’s Missing: Broadcast Emergency Response”, and the alert indicates that a child has been abducted and is in immediate danger.

The GBI and Sandy Springs Police Department have been contacted for comment on the Reya Clark case. Randy Clark and his daughter were last seen at a hotel near Perimeter Mall, but authorities do not have information about the vehicle they may be using. Police are actively searching for the missing baby and her father, urging anyone with information to come forward. The AMBER Alert system and Levi’s Call are crucial tools in quickly disseminating information about child abductions to help locate the missing child and ensure their safety. Newsweek has reached out to authorities for further details on the case and is committed to covering stories that challenge conventional wisdom and find common ground in the search for truth.
