Anne Bockman Hansen had twins at the age of 53 after a successful career as an instructional designer for a tech company. Parenting twins alone while her husband traveled for work was challenging for Anne, who often got only three hours of sleep a night. Despite the difficulties, she cherished the precious moments with her children and found joy in their growth and development. She immersed herself in motherhood, taking the twins to various activities and relishing in their milestones and discoveries. Despite feeling out of place in mom groups due to her age, she embraced being an older mother and focused on creating lasting memories with her children.

Despite the challenges of middle school and the loss of the sweet baby stage, she found joy in watching her children grow into smart, curious, and kind individuals. Now in their teenage years, Anne looks forward to seeing the twins off to college and beyond, knowing that having children was the best decision she ever made.
