Former President Trump took a break from his criminal trial in New York City to attend his youngest son Barron Trump’s high school graduation in Florida. Barron is graduating from Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach, Florida, and it is a private ceremony. Barron will be going to college, but it is unclear which university he has selected. There has been speculation that Barron may attend his father’s alma mater, the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where several of his siblings have also graduated.

The former president had been pushing for weeks to attend Barron’s graduation, and while the judge initially left the decision in limbo, he ultimately granted Trump’s request to attend. However, the judge denied Trump’s request to attend arguments at the Supreme Court regarding the matter of presidential immunity. Trump has pleaded not guilty to 34 counts of falsifying business records and maintains his innocence. Despite the ongoing trial, Trump expressed pride in Barron’s academic achievements and was looking forward to celebrating his graduation with both his mother and father present.

Former first lady Melania Trump, in an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital, expressed pride in the relationship she has built with Barron. Melania launched a jewelry line to honor mothers ahead of Mother’s Day and raise funds for foster kids. Meanwhile, Barron is expected to graduate on Friday, and Trump’s trial is set to resume on Monday with continued cross-examination of the prosecution’s star witness, former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen. Despite the legal challenges facing the former president, he has made attending Barron’s graduation a priority and is looking forward to celebrating this milestone with his son.
