Josh Sanders, a 35-year-old country singer from North Carolina, chose to join Reba McEntire’s team after his audition performance of Nate Smith’s “Whiskey on You.” Sanders has remained on McEntire’s team throughout the competition, showcasing his powerful voice in songs like Thomas Rhett’s “Angels (Don’t Always Have Wings)” and Corey Kent’s “Wild as Her.” Asher HaVon, a 31-year-old artist from Alabama, opted for McEntire’s team as well, impressing Chance the Rapper with his rendition of Adele’s “Set Fire to the Rain” and subsequent performances of songs like Titanium” and “We Don’t Need Another Hero (Thunderdome).”

Nathan Chester, a cruise ship performer from Chicago, caught the attention of coach Legend with his soulful rendition of Al Green’s “Take Me to the River.” Legend praised Chester’s ability to bring back James Brown-style Motown, highlighting his powerful voice and stage presence in songs like “Oh! Olesen’s performances have included songs like Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep” and Queen’s “Don’t Stop Me Now.”

Karen Waldrup made history on “The Voice” Season 25 by having multiple coaches in the country music space — Dan + Shay and McEntire — vying for her after her performance of Joe Dee Messina’s “Bye Bye.” Waldrup, a seasoned performer from Nashville, impressed the coaches with her charisma and stage presence, delivering captivating performances of songs like “Heart Like a Truck” and “I Hope You Dance.” Despite a tough decision, the top five artists were determined after the elimination of contestants like Maddi Janes and Serenity Arce from Team Chance the Rapper and Madison Curbelo and Tae Lewis from Team Dan + Shay.
