Kylie Jenner, the youngest on the list for the seventh consecutive year, continues to expand her business empire with ventures such as her clothing line Khy and canned vodka soda company Sprinter Spirits. Rihanna, the richest person under 40, has seen her fortune grow thanks to her stake in Fenty Beauty. Taylor Swift, on the other hand, reached billionaire status through her successful Eras Tour, which has generated over $1 billion in ticket sales and is expected to bring in another $1 billion by the end of the year.
Among the new faces on the list is Shuo Wang, co-founder of HR software firm Deel, who debuted with a fortune of $850 million. Katy Perry, who recently sold the rights to her music catalog in a deal worth $225 million, also joined the ranks. The minimum wealth required to qualify for the list this year increased to $300 million, up from $225 million in the previous year.
Other young self-made women on the list include Lucy Guo, co-founder of artificial intelligence firm Scale AI, and Whitney Wolfe Herd, founder of the dating app Bumble. Christina Cacioppo, CEO of software company Vanta, Daniela Amodei, president of artificial intelligence unicorn Anthropic, Neha Narkhede, CEO of fraud detection startup Oscilar, and Iman Abuzeid, founder of healthcare marketplace Incredible Health, are also among the influential women on the list.
