Selling Sunset star Christine Quinn met her husband Christian Richard through a mutual friend who was also a matchmaker. They hit it off right away and got married in December 2019 before welcoming their son, Christian, in May 2021. Quinn described Richard as being the opposite of her in many ways, but they found ways to make their relationship work, including setting aside time for each other in the evenings after their son went to bed.

After leaving the Oppenheim Group brokerage, Quinn and Richard started their own firm together, called RealOpen. They faced a terrifying incident in March 2022 when they experienced a home invasion, but they were able to keep themselves and their son safe by locking themselves in the nursery and calling the police. The couple then decided to start their own brokerage, which would cater to clients interested in using cryptocurrency for transactions.

However, in March 2024, reports surfaced that Richard had been arrested for assault with a deadly weapon after allegedly throwing a bag with glass at Quinn, which ended up hitting their son instead. Richard subsequently filed for divorce from Quinn in April 2024, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. Neither Quinn nor Richard addressed the alleged incident publicly at the time.

Throughout their relationship, Quinn and Richard have faced challenges but have also had many happy moments together, including their winter wonderland-themed wedding that was aired on Selling Sunset. They have navigated the ups and downs of parenthood while also building their own business and adjusting to life as a family. Quinn has been open about her experiences as a working mother and has shared the joys and struggles of balancing her career and personal life.

Despite the difficulties they have faced, Quinn and Richard have maintained a strong bond and have continued to support each other through various challenges. Their relationship timeline, from meeting in 2019 to the birth of their son in 2021 to the split in 2024, has been marked by highs and lows that have tested their commitment to each other. While their divorce may mark the end of their marriage, it is also a new chapter in their lives that will undoubtedly bring both challenges and opportunities for growth.
