Hope Solo, the former goalkeeper for the U.S. women’s national soccer team, has faced a series of challenges over the years that have led to her fall from soccer stardom. In 2012, her now-husband, Jerramy Stevens, was arrested on suspicion of assaulting her, and the couple shocked fans by getting married the following day. Solo herself was arrested in 2014 after an alleged domestic violence incident, and Stevens was arrested in 2015 for driving under the influence. She spent 30 days at an in-patient rehab facility to address her issues with alcohol.
