Tito Jackson’s eldest son Taj took to Instagram to pay tribute to his late father, as well as his late mother Delores “Dee Dee” Martes and his late uncle Michael Jackson. Taj expressed his deep sorrow and admiration for his father, who was not only a talented musician but also a humble and kind individual. He shared an old family photo and remembered the special bond he shared with his dad, who was his hero and role model. Taj also reflected on the losses of his mother and uncle, noting that he has had to remain strong for his siblings and cousins.

Taj shared that the photo he posted is now a constant reminder that he has three angels watching over him – his parents and his uncle. He acknowledged the emotional toll that losing loved ones has taken on him and expressed uncertainty about how much more strength he has left. Taj is the eldest of Tito and Dee Dee’s three sons, and along with his brothers Taryll and TJ, they formed the 1990s music group 3T, collaborating with Michael Jackson on the song “Why.”

Tito Jackson passed away at the age of 70 after a medical emergency in Gallup, New Mexico. The Gallup Police Department confirmed his death and identified him as Toriano “Tito” Jackson from Tulsa, Oklahoma. Taj, Taryll, and TJ announced their father’s death on Instagram, expressing shock, sadness, and heartbreak at the loss of their beloved father. They shared a series of photos spanning Tito’s life and described him as an incredible man who cared deeply for others’ well-being.

The brothers referred to Tito as a Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and a legendary member of the Jackson 5, as well as a coach and a father figure to many. They asked their followers to remember their father’s message of loving one another and expressed that Tito would be deeply missed. They ended their post by declaring that it would always be “Tito Time” for them and urged others to continue spreading love and kindness as their father had always preached. The family’s message was met with an outpouring of condolences and support from fans and well-wishers.
