The web3 move-to-earn app STEPN has recently launched a 100 million FSL Points ‘trailblazer’ airdrop campaign. This initiative is in anticipation of an upcoming partnership announcement and aims to reward loyal community members. The airdrop, valued at $30 million, will be split into two phases and FSL Points can be redeemed for the app’s native GMT tokens. In the first phase, Badge Holders will receive points based on their completed in-app activities, while in the second phase, Genesis Sneaker holders will be rewarded based on the duration of their ownership and engagement with the app.

Holders of FSL Points have the option to either convert them to GMT tokens on the STEPN marketplace or to retain them for the purchase of tickets for Raffle Mints in future events and partnerships. The decision to launch this significant airdrop campaign is a gesture of appreciation towards the app’s most loyal community members, providing them with priority access to upcoming mints and exclusive rewards. This campaign, the third of its kind since 2022, follows the distribution of 235 million GMT tokens in previous events, marking a tradition within the STEPN app.

Eligible airdrop recipients have until April 29 to claim their rewards, as the allocated tokens will be forfeited if not claimed by this deadline. The initiative is part of the app’s efforts to engage and reward its community, fostering loyalty and participation among users. Additionally, a teaser was shared in the press release regarding an upcoming partnership with “one of the world’s best-known sports brands.” The partnership is expected to further enhance the app’s growth and solidify its position in the move-and-earn sector.

The announcement of the upcoming partnership hints at exciting developments for STEPN in the near future. The app is entering a phase of significant growth and expansion, with plans to enhance its offerings and establish itself as a leader in the move-to-earn industry. The next few months are expected to be crucial for STEPN, as it sets out to achieve its ambitious goals and engage its dedicated supporters. The app’s CEO, Shiti Manghani, expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming plans and partnership, highlighting the app’s positioning at a pivotal moment in its journey.
