Scheana Shay is considering a potential appearance on Dancing With the Stars but expressed that she wouldn’t want Gleb Savchenko as her partner. Savchenko had made comments about Shay’s dancing abilities, which she found rude and uncalled for. Instead, Shay preferred DWTS pro Alan Bersten as her partner. Her husband, Brock Davies, questioned why Savchenko was passing judgment on Shay’s skills given that the show requires contestants without an extensive dance background.

Savchenko admitted that he agreed with Ariana Madix being offered a spot on season 32 of DWTS over Shay. He mentioned that he wasn’t impressed by Shay’s dancing skills when he helped choreograph a dance for her wedding in 2014. Despite this, he had positive things to say about Shay and offered advice for others aspiring to join the show. Shay defended her dancing skills, stating that she had never claimed to be a dancer and had only recently started taking dance classes in preparation for DWTS.

Shay had gotten emotional on Vanderpump Rules after Madix was offered a spot on DWTS over her. She expressed feeling hurt and struggling with losing a dear friend, while still being happy for Madix. Shay felt that she was not allowed to express her emotions and that everything was only about Madix. Madix, on the other hand, couldn’t understand why Shay was upset and felt that getting one person from their show on DWTS could potentially open up opportunities for others.

Despite the emotional turmoil surrounding the DWTS opportunity, Shay continued to express her feelings of hurt and disappointment at not being chosen for the show. She felt that she could never have a moment where the focus was on her and lamented the loss of a close friend. Despite the challenges, Shay remained supportive of Madix and acknowledged her friend’s deserving of the opportunity. The situation highlighted the complexities of friendship and competition within the entertainment industry and on reality TV shows like Vanderpump Rules.
