Russia has claimed to have seized control of Vyshneve village in Donetsk near the strategic hub of Pokrovsk, while Ukraine reports intercepting 66 of 96 drones launched by Russia. The drone attacks targeted various regions, including Kyiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, and Kharkiv. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia has used over 900 bombs, 30 missiles, and nearly 500 “Shaheds” in the past week. In response, Russia also claims to have captured the village of Vyshneve in Donetsk, near the strategic hub of Pokrovsk, according to the Defence Ministry.

According to the Russian state news agency Tass, regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported that Ukrainian armed forces launched 14 UAVs and 27 projectiles towards Russia’s Belgorod region. Ten projectiles were fired at villages in the Belgorodsky District, with air defenses downing six UAVs and destroying eight drones. Russian air defenses also destroyed 19 Ukrainian drones in the Volgograd, Belgorod, and Rostov regions. The Russian Defence Ministry stated that the air defenses shot down 19 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones involved in terrorist attacks on Russian targets.
