Russian troops recently captured the eastern Ukrainian town of Vuhledar in the Donetsk region after more than two years of attacks. In response to the withdrawal of the Ukrainian brigade from Vuhledar, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy supported the decision made by the commanding officer, emphasizing the importance of protecting the lives of personnel over buildings.
