Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. joined former President Trump at a rally in Glendale, Arizona, where he announced that he was suspending his presidential campaign and endorsing the Republican nominee. Trump praised Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., calling him a phenomenal person who loves the people of the country. He also mentioned establishing an independent presidential commission on assassination attempts as well as releasing all remaining documents related to the assassination of John F. Kennedy, RFK Jr.’s uncle, who was killed in 1963. RFK Jr. spoke about the values that bind them together, including safe food and ending the chronic disease epidemic. Trump appealed to RFK Jr.’s supporters to join their coalition in defense of liberty and safety.

RFK Jr. endorsed Trump, stating that he planned to stay off the ballot in red and blue states so people could vote for him there but remove his name from battleground states. He cited free speech, the war in Ukraine, and the war on children as the causes that drove him to enter the race and eventually support President Trump. RFK Jr. criticized the Democratic National Committee for their treatment of Trump and himself, accusing them of running a sham primary that prevented a serious challenge to President Biden before he secured the nomination. Harris’ campaign reached out to RFK Jr. supporters, stating that Vice President Harris wants to earn their support and bring the country together.

Former President Trump thanked RFK Jr. for his endorsement after the third-party candidate suspended his campaign. He highlighted the importance of protecting America’s freedoms, ensuring a safe environment for children, and making the country healthy again. Trump also acknowledged that the two-party system made it challenging for RFK Jr.’s candidacy but encouraged his supporters to join their coalition. RFK Jr. emphasized the need for a president who will protect the country against totalitarianism and provide a safe food supply free of harmful chemicals. He criticized the DNC-aligned mainstream media and accused them of engineering Harris’ rise.

RFK Jr. and Trump held a rally in the same arena where Vice President Kamala Harris and Gov. Tim Walz had a rally earlier in the month. RFK Jr. expressed his support for Trump’s presidency, emphasizing the values they share and the need to protect America’s freedoms. Trump thanked RFK Jr. for his endorsement and urged supporters to join their coalition to take the country away from those who would destroy it. Harris’ campaign reached out to RFK Jr. supporters, emphasizing the need for a leader who will fight for working people and bring the country together. Meanwhile, a DNC senior advisor dismissed RFK Jr. as a failed fringe candidate and stated that Trump was inheriting his baggage.
