Granted, the simple comment did not give much of an update on what the anticipated sequel is going to be about, the fact that Pattinson knows what is happening in the sequel is exciting enough. DC has taken its time with the new sequel, and for reasons that may not be known at this time.The good news is Reeves has kept busy providing a deeper look at the world in which Pattinson’s Batman lives. “The Penguin” arrived on Max in Sept. 2024, and immediately captivated audiences.Colin Farrell’s portrayal of the Oz Cobb left fans reeling for more, and though the Irish actor revealed “The Batman” spinoff was only to be one season — things began to be set in motion to give the world another look at Gotham’s most vile street thug.DC could have delayed “The Batman 2” to give Reeves more time to flesh out another season of “The Penguin,” but this is just speculation.
