This is due to his large contract but the Magic have the ability to take on his deal.Grant would give this team another strong scoring option for the playoffs. His defensive abilities are also a strength and he could help the team navigate through the injuries that they have seen.Putting Grant back on a competitive team could be good for him and Orlando may get the best out of him. Additionally, if the pairing doesn’t work out, Orlando could always trade him down the line since he still has a few years left on his deal.Getting Grant to pair with Paolo Banchero, Caldwell-Pope, Wendell Carter Jr., and Cole Anthony would give Orlando one of the best defensive teams in the NBA.
