More news: Patriots Are Officially Bringing Back Josh McDanielsGlenn now has the tall task of turning around a Jets organization that has been wrought with issues for multiple years. Despite having a ton of talent on both sides of the ball, the team has not emerged in the way that most predicted them to.The good news is the Jets have the No. 7 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, along with a projected $15 million over the cap for 2025. With a few moves, the team can have even more to work with in terms of helping to rebuild. The first decision that Glenn will need to make is what to do with Aaron Rodgers. The aging quarterback has stated that he would be open to returning to the Jets, but will Glenn and the team’s new general manager feel the same?Glenn is a defensive mastermind, and will likely be bringing in a new offensive coordinator of his choosing. Glenn, the OC, and GM will more than likely have to weigh the potential of Rodgers staying. However, the Jets are in desperate need of a franchise quarterback. With a top 10 pick in the draft, they will need to find that franchise quarterback, and at least allow a veteran to start and teach said rookie. That is unless the rookie is someone who emerges in the way Washington Commanders’ Jayden Daniels has.Either way, Glenn is now the leader of a team that has not been to the playoffs since 2010. He definitely has his work cut out for him.More NFL:Ben Johnson Finalizing Deal to Become Next Head Coach of Chicago BearsFor more on the Jets, head to Newsweek Sports.
