A total of 30,827 cases are included in the recall.The recall was ordered after a metal bolt was found in the product and the FDA classified this incident on Thursday as a Class II recall, which indicates “a situation in which use of or exposure to a violative product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote.”This means that while the product is unlikely to cause life-threatening harm, it could still lead to injuries such as dental damage or internal irritation if consumed.The affected burgers were distributed in Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware, as the map above shows.The recall spans 30 production lot codes, which are: 0734, 0794, 1074, 1144, 1214, 1284, 1294, 1351, 1414, 1494, 1524, 1844, 1934,1974, 2064, 2184, 2194, 2234, 2604, 2814, 2824, 2894, 3184, 3244, 3254, 3341, 3534, 3554, 3594, 0155, and 0425.
