The Bachelor franchise has been matchmaking since 2002. Back in 2003, Trista Sutter (née Rehn) and Ryan Sutter became the first Bachelor Nation couple to walk down the aisle. The twosome, who met while filming season 1 of The Bachelorette, celebrated 21 years of marriage in December 2024.
“I struggle to find new words to describe how much I love you or new ways to express how much you mean to me. It’s difficult to explain but so easy to feel,” Ryan wrote in a heartfelt Instagram tribute at the time. “You make it so easy to feel so good, so happy, so much joy and gratitude and peace within. In an Instagram tribute of her own, Trista recalled being the “happiest I had ever been” on their wedding day. “But throw a life woven together over 21 years with babies and fur babies, peaks and valleys, love and lots and lots of laughter – and I know a different happiness,” she added. “A true, solid, faithful, happiness where I feel seen, known and deeply loved. I cherish them both I cherish you, @ryansutter Happy Anniversary, babe.”
