Bachelor Nation did not hold back their thoughts on Grant Ellis’ season 29 finale, where he proposed to Juliana Pasquarosa after a tense confrontation with Litia Garr.
“I truly believe that you are somebody who is my best friend and I’m so grateful for our journey,” Grant told Juliana before popping the question in the Monday, March 24 episode of The Bachelor. “When you’re going through the toughest times in your life, I want you to know you don’t have to go through it alone. I’ll be there for you as your man, as your friend and as your partner.”
Before getting down on one knee, Grant said “I love you” to both Juliana and Litia — and they said it back to him. Litia appeared blindsided by Grant breaking things off and claimed during the live portion of the episode that he said he could “stop the show” early because she was The One.
While Grant apologized to Litia for “hurting” her, he said he had no regrets about sharing his feelings. Litia, for her part, was ready to move on from the past.
“I’m excited for this to be the last time that I talk to you about this,” she said. “I’m glad that this whole, that last week and that last day, isn’t a part of my love story. I know that I deserve someone waking up one morning and knowing without a shadow of a doubt that they are going to choose me.”

In another Story, Gabi — who was Zach Shallcross’ runner-up on season 27 of The Bachelor — reacted to Litia sharing her side of the story at After the Final Rose.
“Litia just absolutely roasted him in the most politely pissed off way and I love her for that,” Gabi wrote. “I’m heated watching this. No wonder they don’t invite me to AFR. Meanwhile she was suffering from food poisoning during this entire episode.”
Despite her thoughts, Gabi shared that she wishes the “best” for Grant and Juliana. “There’s no easy or right way to do everything on the show,” Gabi wrote, with a photo of the couple at After the Final Rose. “I hate that someone has to be hurt in this whole scenario but I know there is so much personal growth that happens when you have your heart broken and I know Litia will find her person.”
Demar Jackson
“As I’m watching this @BachelorABC finale.. (I’m halfway through currently) It feels like Juliana is meant for him right now, and Litia is meant for him in a year or two from now (very respectfully),” Demar, who appeared on Tayshia Adams’ season 16 of The Bachelorette, wrote via X, adding in a separate post, “I tell you what.. Grant’s sister was not about the decision 😅.”
