A twisted creep tracked a woman trough the woods, pulled a gun and tied her to a tree near the famous Pebble Beach Golf course, leaving cops on the hunt for a suspect with a neck tattoo.

Hikers found the uninjured woman after hearing loud crying from the wooded area, which is surrounded by famous country clubs and massive wealthy homes on the Monterey Peninsula in California, on Wednesday morning, according to SFGate.

Two Good Samaritans untied the woman and called the authorities, according to the outlet.

The victim told investigators with the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office that she noticed the suspicious man following her down the trail as she hiked at around 7:30 AM.

The man then pulled out a gun and tied her to a tree in a secluded area off the trail that runs through the Monterey Forest, according to the sheriff’s office.  He then headed off without further harming the victim.

The man had a distinctive neck tattoo featuring the letter “Z,” the woman told investigators.

The victim was found safe and unharmed and was not robbed while being tied by the perpetrator.

The man is described as in his 30s and has a distinctive tattoo on his neck that appeared to be a word that starts with the letter “Z,” according to the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office.

Police say the man poses no active threat to the community.

The site where the woman was found sits in an area filled with wealthy mansions and famous golf courses including the legendary Spyglass Hill, Pebble Beach and Cypress Point courses, which are the third,12th and 67th ranked course in America, according to Golf Digest.

An investigation is ongoing.
