Summarize this content to 2000 words in 6 paragraphs Entertainment gossip and news from Newsweek’s network of contributorsThere may not have been a live-action Hulk movie since 2008’s “The Incredible Hulk”, but that hasn’t stopped the number of Hulks – i.e. gamma-irradiated, super-powered characters – from multiplying in the MCU. In fact, the release of “Captain America: Brave New World” brings with it not one, but two brand new Hulks. ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ Kills Off Classic Marvel SidekickSo, to helps us all keep things straight, here are all the Hulks so far in the MCU.

Bruce Banner, the Incredible HulkThe original Hulk, Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), has changed a lot since Edward Norton played him in “The Incredible Hulk”. He’s evolved from the nearly wordless savage of “The Avengers,” to the monosyllabic gladiator of “Thor: Ragnarok”, and finally to the Professor Hulk of “Avengers: Endgame” and beyond. Now with the brawn of the Hulk and the brains of Bruce Banner, who knows whether or not the OG Hulk might evolve into something else?Emil Blonsky, aka The AbominationThe aging soldier Emil Blonsky (Tim Roth) forced Samuel Sterns (Tim Blake Nelson) to inject him with Bruce Banner’s blood, transforming him into The Abomination. As we see in “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law”, Blonsky has gone through an even more dramatic evolution than Banner, setting aside the murderous sadism of his past to become an insufferable self-help guru.Jennifer Walters, aka She-HulkIn the premiere episode of “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law”, Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) saves her cousin Bruce Banner during a car accident, but not without unintentionally mixing some of his Hulk-infected blood with her own. As a result, Walters becomes She-Hulk, a soon-to-be-famous lawyer who struggles to live a normal life while being pressured to live the life she doesn’t want: that of a superhero.SkaarThe final episode of “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” reveals that at some point between the events of “Avengers: Age of Ultron” and those of “Thor: Ragnarok”, the Hulk conceived a child on Sakaar. We don’t know much yet about the MCU version of Skaar, but if he’s anything like his comic book counterpart, he has an even shorter temper than his father.Samuel Sterns, aka The LeaderAny Marvel Comics readers watching “The Incredible Hulk” knew exactly what was being hinted at when Samuel Sterns’s heading began bubbling towards the end of the film. But one year after the next passed without any hope of “The Incredible Hulk 2,” and so most thought we might never see the MCU version of the Leader. He finally arrives in “Captain America: Brave New World”, though he’s not quite as super as his comic book counterpart. Along with achieving a superhuman level of intelligence, the Samuel Sterns of the comics boasts psychic powers like telekinesis and can take over a person’s will simply by touching them.Thaddeus Ross, aka Red Hulk”Captain America: Brave New World” reveals that, unsurprisingly, Thaddeus Ross (Harrison Ford) is even more corrupt than we thought. For years Ross kept Sterns under lock and key, using him to keep himself alive. During the events of “Captain America: Brave New World”, Ross finally learns that Sterns filled the pills he was giving him with gamma radiation which eventually transformed Ross into the Red Hulk.More Comics:The Punisher Will Get His Own Disney+ Project Following ‘Daredevil’ RebootThe Penguin’s Future Is in Doubt
