Davante Adams, a wide receiver for the Las Vegas Raiders, has requested a trade from the team. He has reportedly provided a wish list of new teams he would like to play for, including the New York Jets and New Orleans Saints. These choices make sense due to his previous successful partnerships with quarterbacks Aaron Rodgers and Derek Carr. Adams previously played with Rodgers on the Green Bay Packers and Carr is his former Fresno State teammate who is now with the Saints. The Raiders have indicated that they would consider trading Adams if they received a second-round pick and additional compensation.

Rodgers, who tore his Achilles last season, expressed excitement at the possibility of playing with Adams again during a celebrity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe. The Jets, with Rodgers currently leading them, could benefit from adding Adams to their offensive lineup. Carr, who played with Adams during his first season with the Raiders, is now performing well for the Saints. Adams had Las Vegas on his list of preferred destinations last season due to Carr’s presence on the team. Despite rumors that Adams may have played his final game with Las Vegas, the wide receiver has not been in contact with head coach Antonio Pierce and is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury.

While the Jets and Saints are leading contenders for acquiring Adams, other teams such as the Dallas Cowboys are also interested in adding the talented receiver to their roster. The Cowboys, led by quarterback Dak Prescott, could benefit from having another weapon on the field. However, it is unlikely that the Kansas City Chiefs will be able to acquire Adams due to being in the same division as the Raiders. Adams has had a successful start to the season with the Raiders, despite their quarterback situation with Gardner Minshew taking over this year.

As Adams continues to recover from his injury, trade talks surrounding his potential move to another team are ongoing. Despite the uncertainty surrounding his future with the Raiders, Adams remains focused on his recovery and on finding the right fit for his talents. The connection between Adams and quarterbacks like Rodgers and Carr have sparked interest from several teams looking to strengthen their offensive lineup. It remains to be seen where Adams will end up, but it is clear that there are multiple teams interested in acquiring his services.
