The New York City psychiatrist named in a sex trafficking lawsuit brought by an anonymous Jeffrey Epstein accuser is denying the allegations. The psychiatrist, identified as Jarecki, claims that the accusations are false and are being made by lawyers seeking money on behalf of the woman. Jarecki states that he had a consensual and respectful relationship with the woman over a decade ago. He denies engaging in any abusive conduct with her or anyone else. The former model, known as Jane Doe 11, filed a lawsuit accusing Jarecki of raping her after Epstein sent her to his office for mental health help.

Jarecki, a prominent psychiatrist, billionaire metals trader, author, and co-founder of Moviefone, is a longtime Yale University professor. Jane Doe 11 came to the U.S. in 2010 to work in the modeling industry and connected with Epstein. According to the lawsuit, Epstein sent her to Jarecki for mental health help and described him as the best doctor in New York City. The lawsuit alleges that the consultation with Jarecki led to years of modern-day sexual slavery. Jarecki denies these allegations and states that he will contest them in the appropriate forum.

The lawsuit claims that during the first consultation, Jarecki offered Jane Doe 11 an expensive wristwatch to make her happy. Instead of prescribing medication, he allegedly raped her against her will in his Manhattan home. Other allegations include claims that Jarecki put Doe up in an expensive apartment in exchange for sex, which she never agreed to. She accused him of raping her multiple times in New York City and on private Caribbean islands, exerting control over her life between 2011 and 2014. The lawsuit alleges that Jarecki manipulated and controlled her into being his modern-day sex slave.

Jeffrey Epstein, a former teacher who made millions in the finance industry and associated with influential figures, died in 2019 in a federal jail cell while awaiting trial on sex-trafficking charges. His death was ruled a suicide, but serious errors were found in the facility where he died. In January, a federal court unsealed documents as part of a lawsuit brought by prominent Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre, shedding new light on his social circle. The case has brought renewed attention to allegations of sex trafficking and abuse involving powerful figures like Epstein and those connected to him.

The allegations made by Jane Doe 11 against Jarecki are serious and disturbing, with claims of manipulation, control, and sexual abuse. Jarecki’s denial of the accusations is in line with his assertion that the relationship was consensual and respectful. The lawsuit highlights the complexity of cases involving allegations of sexual abuse and exploitation, especially when they involve high-profile individuals like Epstein and those connected to him. As the legal proceedings continue, more information may come to light about the alleged incidents and the relationships between the parties involved.
