Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn made their debut as the new Fantastic Four during Marvel Studios’ presentation at San Diego Comic-Con. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige revealed that the upcoming reboot will be titled The Fantastic Four: First Steps and will include the villains Galactus and the Silver Surfer.

Moss-Bachrach, who will use motion-capture technology to play the Thing, received support and guidance from fellow Marvel star Mark Ruffalo, who plays the Hulk using similar technology. Ruffalo’s advice helped Moss-Bachrach feel more comfortable with the process, easing his concerns about the technology. The cast is set to start shooting The Fantastic Four: First Steps in London, with Pascal documenting their first day together on set on July 25, sharing a selfie with his co-stars captioned “Our first mission 💙”. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on July 25, 2025.
