UConn basketball star Paige Bueckers made a fashionable appearance at the 2024 ESPY Awards, wearing a lilac suit from the KidSuper fall 2024 runway. Graduating in May with a degree in human development & family sciences, Bueckers will return to the Huskies basketball team for the 2024-2025 season, but not before making a splash at New York Fashion Week. She attended shows like Tombogo, Who Decides War, and Off-White, as well as events with Nike, thanks to a deal she signed with the athletics giant last year under new NCAA rules. Styled by Brittany Hampton and glam squad Hayley Logan, Mitchell Ramazon, Meghan Nguy, and Joanna Simkin, Bueckers describes her style as a mix of masculine and feminine elements, with a love for patterns, pastels, vests, and cardigans. While she dresses lazy for class, she appreciates the opportunity to experiment with her style during fashion week.

Working closely with stylist Brittany Hampton, Bueckers enjoyed the freedom to express her personal style, which she describes as a blend of masculine and feminine elements. She is drawn to patterns, pastels, vests, and cardigans, as well as a good crop top, jacket, and pant outfit. Although she dresses lazily for class, Bueckers values the opportunity to dress up and explore different looks during New York Fashion Week. A standout moment for Bueckers during the event was attending the Tombogo show, one of the first brands Hampton dressed her in. She also had the chance to meet Off-White creative director Ib Kamara, which she describes as a memorable and inspiring experience. Additionally, she took a break from the shows to attend a New York Liberty game, where she sat with gymnast Jordan Chiles, whom she admires.
