Today’s Strands puzzle revolved around the theme of a good workout, with words related to things you’d find in a gym. The spangram for the day was “FITNESS,” linking two opposite sides of the grid. Additionally, there were other words like “Rowers,” “Bike,” “Treadmill,” “Cables,” “Weights,” and “Elliptical” that fit the theme.

Interestingly, there were three spangrams in today’s puzzle, but only FITNESS was the official one. The words TREADMILL and ELLIPTICAL also stretched out across the grid, although only FITNESS was required to solve the puzzle. The other words were relatively easy to find, aligning with the theme of the day.

The Strands puzzle, which is a play on the classic word search, presents players with a grid of letters in which they must find words that have something in common. A clue is given for the theme words, which remain highlighted in blue once found. Additionally, players must find the spangram, which connects opposite sides of the grid and remains highlighted in yellow once discovered.

Unfortunately, Strands is currently in beta and not available on the New York Times games app. However, players can continue to play the game and help keep it alive for future enjoyment. Each day presents a new puzzle to solve, encouraging players to engage with their minds and stay alert while having fun.
