Nicki Minaj has made yet another successful foray into the world of fashion with the launch of her exclusive line of sneakers in collaboration with urban luxury vegan brand LØCI. The collection, named “Nicki Minaj x LØCI,” features 11 unique unisex bio leather shoes, each bearing a logo that pays homage to Minaj as the “Queen of Rap.” Priced between $185 to $200, the sneakers are a blend of street-cool aesthetics and high-fashion chic, inspired by Minaj’s bold sense of style and vanity flair.

In an Instagram post on March 29, Minaj announced her upcoming line of footwear, expressing her gratitude towards her team for helping her turn her dream into reality. She made it clear that this collaboration is not simply a sponsorship but a testament to her role as an owner and partner in the project. Joining the ranks of other hip-hop artists who have ventured into the sneaker industry, Minaj is following a trend that has seen the likes of Missy Elliot, Jay-Z, 50 Cent, Kanye West, and more recently, Megan Thee Stallion, releasing their own collections.

LØCI, the British-based brand behind the exclusive line of sneakers, is known for its sustainable and eco-friendly luxury materials within the vegan spectrum. Embracing Minaj’s Queens aesthetic and courageous fashion sense, the brand aims to capture her unique style while supporting Black-owned businesses. Co-founder and CEO of LØCI, Emmanuel Eribo, shared in a 2022 interview with Forbes that the brand aspires to build a community that will eventually evolve into a movement, challenging norms and advocating for purposeful design.

Alongside her sneaker collaboration, Minaj has been busy expanding her business ventures. In March, she launched her press-on nail line, Pink Friday Nails, in partnership with her longtime manicurist, Yvett G. Featuring 11 designs inspired by Minaj’s signature looks, the nail line allows customers to choose the size and shape of each design they desire. In addition to her fashion endeavors, Minaj is also currently on her Pink Friday 2 Tour, which has seen immense success with over 25 sold-out shows and generating $34.9 million from ticket sales for its initial 17 shows.
