Three of YouTube’s most popular stars, MrBeast, Logan Paul, and KSI, have collaborated to create Lunchly, a new lunch option aimed at their young fan base. Lunchly combines all of their products into one meal, including a bottle of Prime Hydration, a low-sugar energy drink founded by Paul and KSI, a Feastables milk chocolate bar created by MrBeast, and a processed food option such as pizza, nachos, or turkey and cheese with crackers. The founders of Lunchly aim to provide high-quality products and healthier alternatives to the school lunch market, which has been dominated by Lunchables for years.

Lunchly claims to be a healthier option compared to Lunchables, as Prime has more electrolytes than a Capri Sun in Lunchables, and MrBeast’s chocolate bar has less sugar than popular options like Kit Kat or Crunch bars. The launch of Lunchly follows a major initiative from Lunchables, owned by Kraft Heinz, to be a part of school lunch programs by reformulating their ingredients to meet federal guidelines, including adding fresh fruit to their lunches. Consumer Reports recently found that Lunchables kits served in schools have even higher levels of sodium than kits available in stores.

KSI, Paul, and MrBeast are experienced in launching brands and have a strong fan base to support Lunchly. Prime, one of the products included in Lunchly, has seen a surge in sales, challenging established brands like Gatorade and BodyArmor despite concerns about the caffeine content in some of its drinks. Jeffrey Klineman, editor-in-chief of BevNet, noted that Prime appeals to a younger demographic that has not been targeted extensively beyond traditional kids’ drinks. Paul’s appeal to a 13-year-old is seen as more significant than a juice box, making Lunchly an attractive option for young consumers.

The collaboration between MrBeast, Logan Paul, and KSI on Lunchly aims to provide a convenient, healthier alternative to the school lunch market that has long been dominated by Lunchables. The combination of Prime Hydration, Feastables chocolate bar, and processed food options offers a unique lunch experience for their young fan base. Despite the challenges faced by traditional brands like Lunchables, Lunchly promises to bring healthier options with an emphasis on quality products and ingredients.

As Lunchly’s launch coincides with the continuing efforts of Lunchables to be a part of school lunch programs, the competition in the lunch market is expected to intensify. With lunch options becoming increasingly scrutinized for their nutritional content, Lunchly’s focus on providing healthier alternatives could resonate with consumers looking for better options. The success of Prime and the popularity of MrBeast, Logan Paul, and KSI among their fans provide a strong foundation for Lunchly to make a significant impact in the lunch market and potentially challenge the dominance of Lunchables.
