A new lawsuit filed in federal court in New York alleges that prominent psychiatrist Henry Jarecki, a friend of Jeffrey Epstein, raped a former model who came to the United States in 2010 and fell into Epstein’s orbit. According to court filings, Jarecki, 91, reportedly forced the woman on a tour of his Manhattan home and sexually assaulted her during their first consultation. The lawsuit claims that this incident led to years of modern-day sexual slavery, with Jarecki exerting control over the woman’s life and coercing her into being his modern-day sex slave. The woman, identified as Jane Doe 11 in court documents, alleged that Jarecki seemed to get aroused by her emotional suffering.

Jarecki allegedly gained knowledge of Jane Doe 11’s financial and immigration situation, which he then used to manipulate and control her. The lawsuit claims that he coerced her into being his modern-day sex slave, setting her up with a landline telephone and monitoring her around the clock. According to court filings, Jarecki also allegedly created a deal where the woman would cover her $5,700 a month rent with sex acts, something she never agreed to. The lawsuit further claims that Jane Doe 11 was raped multiple times in New York City and trafficked to a private island in the Caribbean for further abuse. In one instance, Jarecki allegedly suggested that she start having threesomes with him and another young female.

The lawsuit states that Jane Doe 11 had to continue working to meet her visa requirements and pay her lawyers, but Jarecki allegedly ordered her to turn down jobs. He reportedly threatened to have her visa revoked, send her back to Epstein, and end her career if she did not comply with his demands. Despite these allegations, Jarecki’s lawyer denied the claims, stating that they will be shown to be false and baseless. Jarecki is a longtime Yale University professor, author, co-founder of MovieFone, and a billionaire metals trader in addition to his medical background. Epstein, who died in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex-trafficking charges, had a network of prominent associates and powerful figures who have been implicated in his crimes.

Investigators determined Epstein’s death in a federal jail cell to be a suicide but found serious errors in the facility where he was housed. The lawsuit against Jarecki sheds light on the extensive network of individuals who allegedly enabled and participated in Epstein’s sex-trafficking operation. The case also underscores the continued impact of Epstein’s actions on his victims, who are seeking justice and accountability for the abuse they suffered. The lawsuit against Jarecki represents another step towards holding those complicit in Epstein’s crimes accountable and providing survivors with the opportunity to seek legal recourse against their abusers.
