After the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, left-wing conspiracy theories claiming that the shooting was staged continue to spread across social media platforms such as X. Hashtags like “#Staged,” “#StagedbyTrump,” and “#StagedAssassinationAttempt” are frequently used in posts that question the authenticity of the incident. Many of these posts are made by anti-Trump and left-leaning accounts and are gaining millions of views and thousands of comments.

Some social media users are alleging that the Trump campaign orchestrated the shooting to fake an assassination attempt in order to blame Democrats and potentially start a civil war. Images and videos are being shared to support these claims, with many users pointing to supposed evidence such as fake blood packets and Trump’s actions during the incident as proof of a staged event.

Photos and videos from the incident, including footage showing Trump reacting to the shooter’s movements and a Spirit Halloween listing for fake blood packets, are being used as evidence to support the conspiracy theories. Some users are speculating that Trump used a fake blood packet hidden behind his ear or in his hat in order to fake his wound. Others are focusing on Trump’s reaction after the incident, questioning why he was able to straighten his wig and stand for photos if he had been shot.

Despite the spread of these conspiracy theories, the FBI has confirmed that Trump was indeed shot in the ear during the assassination attempt. The agency stated that the bullet that struck Trump was fired from the deceased shooter’s rifle, coming within an inch of fatally hitting him. The FBI’s statement contradicts the claims made by conspiracy theorists on social media and confirms that the incident was a real assassination attempt.

During the shooting incident, a hero firefighter in the rally crowd was fatally struck by the gunfire, while two others were seriously wounded. The gunman, Thomas Crooks, was shot dead by Secret Service snipers shortly after opening fire. The FBI’s investigation into the incident found that Trump was injured by a bullet fired by Crooks, dispelling the allegations of a staged assassination attempt. Despite the FBI’s confirmation, conspiracy theories about the incident continue to circulate among anti-Trump and left-leaning social media users with millions of views and comments on platforms like X.
