These games include Pinpoint, Crossclimb, and Queens, each offering a unique gaming experience for users. The games can be played once per day and allow players to compete against their first-degree connections on the platform. LinkedIn believes that playing games together can help deepen relationships and spark conversations among users, which are essential aspects of networking. Additionally, these games provide an opportunity for users to stay on the platform and potentially consider subscribing to LinkedIn Premium.

Pinpoint is a word-association game where players have to guess the connection among five clue words as they are revealed. The objective is to solve the puzzle with the fewest number of guesses, similar to the popular game Wordle. Even if players don’t guess the correct answer in the fewest tries, they are encouraged by the game with positive feedback. Crossclimb, on the other hand, is a word-logic game inspired by a mini crossword puzzle with a unique twist. Players are given clues to determine three word “rungs” that they must arrange into a ladder of words where each rung differs by one letter. Once the ladder is correctly constructed, additional clues are provided to solve the puzzle.

Queens is a visual-logic game where players must fill a multicolored grid with queen emojis so that each row, column, and color contains only one queen without any two queens touching. This game, designed by different creators, offers a new challenge each time with only one correct answer. For the opening month of May, the grids for Queens were created by three-time World Sudoku Champion Thomas Snyder, providing a challenging and engaging experience for players. These games add a new dimension to the LinkedIn platform, offering users a break from the usual networking activities and a chance to engage with their connections in a fun and interactive way.
