A man named James Gosselin was arrested last month in Los Angeles after he attempted to ram an adult film star’s motorcycle and attack the victim with a golf club. Gosselin was reportedly jealous because the adult film actor, identified in the warrant as “Hamilton,” had made a film with his ex-girlfriend “Gia.” Gosselin was booked for attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon, among other charges, and was released on a $1 million bond. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on June 6.
The incident occurred on April 2 when Hamilton was riding his motorcycle and Gosselin allegedly twice bumped into his back wheel with his vehicle, causing Hamilton to lose balance. Gosselin then exited his vehicle with a golf club in hand, attempting to attack Hamilton. Despite several unsuccessful swings, Gosselin managed to strike Hamilton in the lower back hard enough to cause bruising. However, Hamilton was able to defend himself, tackling Gosselin and breaking his orbital bone with a punch to the face. Police arrived at the scene and took Gosselin into custody without incident.
Following the attack, Hamilton received text messages from friends warning him that Gosselin was out of the hospital and looking for him. Hamilton expressed fear for his safety due to Gosselin’s behavior and reputation of carrying a firearm. A mutual friend, identified as Lexington, revealed that Gosselin had expressed intentions of borrowing a truck to murder Hamilton and dispose of his body. Lexington also stated that Gosselin was mentally unstable and willing to engage in a shootout with police officers when arrested. Gosselin and Gia had ended their relationship in February, leading to Gosselin’s alleged vendetta against Hamilton.
