Reality TV star Lala Kent has apologized to actor David Arquette for not being friendly on the set of their 2020 film Spree. Kent acknowledged feeling intimidated and out of place amongst well-known and established actors on set, which may have come off as attitude. Arquette had previously shared that Kent had given him attitude during their interactions, despite not having many scenes together. The Scream alum mentioned feeling like he was filming scenes for Vanderpump Rules during his encounters with Kent.

Released in January 2020, Spree starred Joe Keery as a rideshare driver who murders his passengers to become viral on social media. Arquette played Keery’s father while Kent appeared as a passenger in the horror flick. Following Arquette’s comments, his fans took to social media to support him, with many expressing surprise and disappointment at Kent’s behavior on set. Kent is currently expecting her second daughter through intrauterine insemination with a sperm donor. She recently celebrated her baby shower in a Selkie minidress, the same design she had mocked her Vanderpump Rules co-star Ariana Madix for wearing in 2021.

In addition to her pregnancy, Kent is also the mother of her three-year-old daughter Ocean, whom she shares with her ex-fiancé Randall Emmett. She announced her pregnancy in March and revealed the gender of her baby during an Amazon Live chat in April. Despite initially feeling like boy energy would be nice to have in the house, Kent expressed her excitement about having another daughter and enjoying girl time in their current all-girl household.

Kent’s apology to Arquette on Instagram Stories acknowledged her lack of friendliness on set and attributed it to feeling intimidated by the well-known actors she was working with. Arquette had mentioned on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen that Kent had given him attitude during their brief interactions, and he felt like he was filming scenes for Vanderpump Rules. Despite the tension on set, Spree was released in early 2020 and featured Arquette as Keery’s father and Kent as a passenger in the horror film.

The incident between Kent and Arquette on the set of Spree resurfaced when Arquette shared his memories of working with the reality TV star during a recent talk show appearance. Fans of Arquette showed their support for him on social media, with many commenting on Kent’s behavior and expressing surprise at her attitude towards the actor. Kent, who is currently expecting her second daughter, has been open about her pregnancy journey and the excitement of having another girl in their household. Despite the initial gender disappointment, Kent is looking forward to the girl time and energy that her new baby will bring to their family.
