Hunter Biden’s friend and supporter, Kevin Morris, who is often referred to as his “sugar brother,” has reportedly loaned him over $6.5 million to cover his mounting legal bills. Morris, a successful Hollywood entertainment lawyer, met Biden at a political fundraiser in late 2019 and has been financially supporting him ever since. Despite his efforts, Morris is now struggling to afford the increasing legal costs as Biden is set to face two separate trials next month.

Morris, who represented the creators of the TV show “South Park” and earned a fortune from his work, has been interviewed by congressional committees as part of the impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden. During the interview, Morris acknowledged paying various attorneys on behalf of Hunter Biden but refused to disclose the exact amount he has spent on covering the first son’s legal fees. The financial strain on Morris is now posing a challenge for Hunter’s defense team, particularly in terms of paying for expert witnesses.

Hunter Biden is facing three felony charges in a federal gun case in Delaware, with a trial scheduled to begin on June 3. Additionally, he is also set to stand trial on June 20 in California on nine counts related to tax fraud. The legal battles have put a significant strain on Biden’s defense resources, with his attorney Abbe Lowell informing the judge in the Delaware case that they were having difficulty securing expert witnesses due to the financial constraints they were facing.

Despite the challenges, Hunter Biden has pleaded not guilty to all charges in both cases. His attorney requested a delay in the start date of the Delaware trial to allow more time to secure expert witnesses, but the judge refused to grant the extension. The situation highlights the financial difficulties faced by Biden’s defense team and the impact it is having on their ability to adequately prepare for the upcoming trials. As the legal proceedings unfold, the outcome of these cases will have far-reaching implications for Hunter Biden and his family.
