KEF Music Gallery London is the latest addition to a series of KEF Experience Locations being created globally by the British speaker maker. The new space includes the KEF Music Gallery, KEF Music Studio, and KEF Music Lounge, where KEF’s motto of ‘Listen and believe’ comes to life. Located in central London, the Music Gallery is a place to discover, explore, and immerse in music, film, new artists, and musicians, all powered by KEF technology. The Gallery spreads over two floors and 5,000 square feet, providing visitors with an introduction to the world of KEF and encouraging them to sit and listen to music.
KEF has collaborated with partners and a community of creators to create the Gallery, which is the new global flagship for the company, joining similar high-profile spaces like the KEF Music Gallery Hong Kong and KEF Music Gallery Tokyo. Grace Lo, KEF’s president and head of global marketing, stated that the Gallery illustrates the company’s commitment to sharing the magic of great sound with consumers globally and providing partners with a collaborative platform to deliver KEF’s unique immersive high-fidelity experiences.
Designed as a destination for audiophiles, music and film lovers, music creators, and makers, the Gallery is a place where visitors can relax and discover soundscapes and audio design. Developed in partnership with British architecture and interior design studio Conran and Partners, the Gallery features high-quality materials and finishes, including stainless steel, concrete, light and dark oak, creating a contemporary environment with a residential feel that offers an alternative to traditional audio showrooms.
The Gallery features various spaces such as The Gallery, an urban oasis and home to London’s ultimate high-fidelity café, KEFé, which offers visitors the opportunity to listen to an eclectic mix of classic and contemporary musical genres. In the evenings, it transforms into a space for immersive music events, where visitors can try out the latest KEF products and be the first to hear about the brand’s upcoming events and experiences. The Gallery also hosts year-round collaborative events, film screenings, exclusive live and recorded music sessions, talks, and interactive experiences.
Additionally, the Gallery includes The Studio, an intimate space for musicians, artists, and collaborators to create and enjoy KEF audio, and The Hub, a space for guests and hosting workshops. The Hub features a four-meter-long table made from a single piece of Kentish oak and is installed with KEF’s architectural in-ceiling speakers for guests to listen to the core architectural speaker ranges produced by the company. The Living Room showcases KEF’s integrated and stand-alone sound systems, displayed in a home environment, while the Ultimate Experience Room offers a special space for listening and experiencing technology such as the revered KEF Muon speakers and Dolby Atmos-enabled screening experience.
If you’re visiting London and want to discover what the new KEF Music Gallery London has to offer, you can find it at 42-48 Great Portland Street, London, just a stone’s throw from BBC Broadcasting House. The Gallery aims to provide a unique and immersive experience for music and technology enthusiasts, offering a space to appreciate high-fidelity sound and explore the world of KEF in the heart of the city.
