Joe Rogan has invited former President Donald Trump’s running mate, JD Vance, to appear on his popular podcast, “The Joe Rogan Experience,” following Trump’s successful appearance on the show that garnered over 39 million views on YouTube. This comes after Vice President Kamala Harris declined Rogan’s invitation to appear on the show in his Texas studio, insisting that she wanted the interview to take place elsewhere and only last for an hour, as opposed to Rogan’s usual three-hour format.

Rogan expressed disappointment that Harris did not accept his invitation to appear on the show in his Austin studio, stating that he believes in-person interviews are the best way to connect with his guests. Despite his desire to have a conversation with Harris and get to know her as a human being, she has yet to commit to appearing on the podcast. Trump, during his interview with Rogan, speculated that Harris would not be able to handle a three-hour interview and would struggle to keep up, joking that she would likely end up laying on the floor in a comatose state.

Following Trump’s interview going viral, fans accused YouTube of trying to censor the episode by not making it easily accessible through search terms. YouTube responded to these accusations, stating that the full interview did not appear prominently in search results at first but that they were working to address the issue and make the full podcast more easily accessible to viewers. Rogan also posted the full clip on his X profile, where it quickly racked up millions of views within a short period of time.

Despite the controversy surrounding Trump’s interview and accusations of censorship, Rogan continues to be a highly influential and popular figure in the world of podcasting. He remains committed to providing a platform for a wide range of guests, including politicians like Vance and Harris, offering them the opportunity to engage in long-form conversations that allow for a deeper understanding of their views and personalities. While Harris has yet to confirm her appearance on the show, Vance is scheduled to meet with Rogan in his studio in Austin, where they are expected to have a wide-ranging conversation about his political views and experiences.
