Valley star Janet Caperna has recently distanced herself from her longtime friend Kristen Doute. Watching back The Valley has brought to light certain remarks that Kristen, 41, made in confessional interviews, which Janet found surprising as it was her first season on reality TV. Janet expressed her disbelief at some of the comments made by Kristen and did not appreciate being referred to as a pawn in her game. She reiterated that she does not have the capacity to manipulate people in that way and was taken aback by the insinuation. The experience of seeing what people were saying about her behind her back in the interviews was something new for Janet.
Despite the rift between Janet and Kristen, Janet has formed a strong bond with her costar Brittany Cartwright. Having gone through a divorce herself, Janet shared that she and Brittany bonded over their shared experience, as Brittany recently announced her separation from husband Jax Taylor. Janet reassured Brittany that she would be okay regardless of what happens in their respective relationships, and the two have found a new stage in their friendship through this shared experience of going through a divorce.
Janet, who was previously married before finding love with her now-husband Jason Caperna, empathized with Brittany’s situation of going through a separation. Brittany, 35, confirmed in February that she had separated from Jax, 44, and the two women have found solace in each other during this difficult time.
