As Sean “Diddy” Combs faces federal sex trafficking charges, a documentary titled Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy is set to air on Peacock, featuring interviews with members of his inner circle. Al B. Sure!, a former label mate and boyfriend of Kim Porter, speaks about his observations of Diddy over the years. The trailer teases interviews with Diddy’s friend, bodyguard, makeup artist, producer, and intern, as well as an anonymous individual whose voice has been altered for anonymity. The individual alleges witnessing underage girls in rooms lit with red lighting with Diddy.

Attorney Lisa Bloom, representing Dawn Richards in a civil sexual assault lawsuit against Diddy, calls him a “monster” in the trailer. An unidentified woman recalls being told that she could be shipped off and sold to anyone. The documentary also includes footage of Diddy stating, “I can show y’all how we have fun and stay out of jail, too.” The film promises a raw, exclusive look at Sean Combs before he was known as Puff or Diddy, exploring his childhood, rise to fame, and recent criminal allegations.

Diddy was arrested in September 2024 on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, denying the allegations and pleading not guilty. He has been denied bail multiple times and withdrew his latest request in December 2024. He will remain in jail until his trial starts in May. A federal judge stated that no conditions would ensure the safety of the community if Diddy were granted bail. Diddy’s next court appearance is scheduled for March 17, and he is reportedly trying to stay positive while behind bars.

Sources reveal that Diddy is gathering character witnesses to speak in his favor and is not giving up on himself during this difficult time. The documentary, Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy, premieres on Peacock on January 14, promising never-before-seen footage and stories from those who know Diddy best.
