The father’s alleged dealer, Robert Mauro, has been charged with manslaughter in connection to the death of an unrelated woman who died from the same batch of drugs.
Bodycam video captured the dramatic scene as police and first responders rushed to the child’s aid at the Lake Grove residence. The child, who was not breathing, was successfully resuscitated in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. The efforts of the first responders paid off as the child began crying, indicating signs of recovery.
