The competition will feature top riders battling it out on the track, including former teammates who are now with different manufacturers. Tommy Bridewell, now with Honda Racing, is aiming to become the first rider to win consecutive titles with two different manufacturers. On the other hand, his former teammate, Glenn Irwin, will be looking to claim the championship after finishing as runner-up in the past two seasons.

The 2024 British Superbike season will kick off at Circuito de Navarra in Spain and will wrap up with three Showdown races where the points tally will increase. The championship will consist of 11 rounds of racing, with points being awarded based on finishing positions. The Showdown events at Oulton Park and Donnington Park will have higher points values for the top-three riders, and the season finale at Brands Hatch will offer even more points to the winners.

Tommy Bridewell is considered a strong contender for the championship this season, as he aims to build on his success from the previous year. Despite uncertainties about his performance at Circuito de Navarra, Bridewell is focused on establishing a strong base for the championship. Other riders, such as Yamaha’s Kyle Ryde and Ryan Vickers, will also be looking to challenge Bridewell for the title. Ryde, who finished third in the standings last season, was the fastest in pre-season testing at Donnington Park, while Vickers impressed as well.
