When they returned home, they found the kitchen and basement flooded, resulting in damage to the flooring, cabinets, island, drywall, insulation, ceiling, and more. Arnold shared that they would need to replace all the affected areas, including the kitchen countertops, as a result of the flood. Despite the costly repairs, Arnold tried to find a positive aspect in the situation, joking that now she could get new countertops since she never liked the old ones.
Arnold explained that her daughter Sage had never caused any accidents or spills in the past, making this flood incident a surprising and unfortunate one. She guessed that Sage must have tried to use the water spigot when the water was cut off, leading to the accidental flooding.
