Ford is recalling over 450,000 Ford Bronco Sport SUVs and Ford Maverick pickups in the United States due to a potential battery issue that could result in a loss of drive power. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued an alert regarding the problem, stating that a low battery charge could lead to a loss of electrical accessories or drive power, increasing the risk of a crash. The affected models were made between 2021 to 2024 for the Ford Bronco Sport SUVs and between 2022 to 2023 for the Ford Maverick pickups, totaling 456,565 units.

Ford has stated that they are committed to ensuring the safety and satisfaction of their customers, with safety being a top priority for the company.
