The Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) has announced its largest fundraising and expenditure effort to support former President Trump in his bid for reelection. The group is committed to raising a minimum of $5 million to help elect Trump in the November White House rematch with President Biden. This effort will be the RJC’s largest ever mobilization in the Jewish community for President Trump, in addition to their $15 million independent expenditure, which is the largest in the organization’s history.

This announcement comes as anti-Israel protests have erupted on college campuses across the country in response to Israel’s conflict with Hamas in Gaza. President Biden’s support for Israel in this conflict has been criticized by demonstrators, who have called on colleges and universities to cut financial ties with the Israeli government. Despite some division among Democrats over these protests, Republicans are almost entirely united in their opposition, as antisemitism spikes and America’s relationship with Israel faces challenges.

The RJC, a grassroots organization representing Jewish Republicans across the country, has been active for over four decades. Late Republican mega donor Sheldon Adelson, who played a key leadership role with the RJC and provided generous financial support, passed away in 2021. The group remained neutral during the 2024 GOP presidential nomination race, with all major Republican contenders attending their annual leadership meeting in Las Vegas. Former Vice President Mike Pence made headlines at this event by suspending his campaign.

Former U.N. ambassador and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, Trump’s last rival in the race, dropped out in early March, prompting the RJC to officially endorse Trump. With the Jewish community more energized than ever to turn the page from what they view as failures, broken promises, and betrayals by Biden, the RJC is gearing up for a strong push to support President Trump in the upcoming election. The group’s efforts include significant fundraising and a focus on mobilizing support in the Jewish community to secure Trump’s reelection.

As the country heads towards the November election, the RJC’s efforts and fundraising activities are expected to play a significant role in supporting President Trump’s campaign. With a focus on rallying support in the Jewish community and responding to anti-Israel protests that have drawn attention in recent weeks, the group is committed to ensuring Trump’s victory. The RJC’s history, leadership, and strategic approach to supporting Republican candidates, particularly in the current political climate, are expected to have a substantial impact on the outcome of the election and the future of the Republican party.
