The group remained neutral during the 2024 GOP presidential nomination race, with all major Republican contenders attending their annual leadership meeting in Las Vegas. Former Vice President Mike Pence made headlines at this event by suspending his campaign.
Former U.N. ambassador and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, Trump’s last rival in the race, dropped out in early March, prompting the RJC to officially endorse Trump. With the Jewish community more energized than ever to turn the page from what they view as failures, broken promises, and betrayals by Biden, the RJC is gearing up for a strong push to support President Trump in the upcoming election. The group’s efforts include significant fundraising and a focus on mobilizing support in the Jewish community to secure Trump’s reelection.
