Taylor Armstrong, original cast member of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, revealed that she no longer watches the show due to the anxiety and pressure of watching her friends fight on camera. She explained that being in that type of situation herself during her time on the show made it difficult for her to watch. Armstrong left RHOBH in 2016 to focus on women’s empowerment projects, stating that being on a show that showcased women fighting did not align with the work she was doing.

Armstrong shared that she is currently working on various projects in the women’s empowerment space, such as Empowered Experts, which involves courses and retreats for women to support and uplift each other. She mentioned that watching her friends fight on TV and then trying to empower herself felt contradictory at times. She has transitioned to working on scripted television, enjoying playing roles other than herself and avoiding the drama that comes with reality TV.

Despite not watching Real Housewives of Beverly Hills anymore, Armstrong remains supportive of her friends from the show, including Kyle Richards. She expressed confidence in Richards’ potential return for season 14, stating that she couldn’t imagine the show without her. Armstrong suggested that taking a break from the show might be good for Richards to focus on her personal life without the added pressure of being on reality TV.

In March, Kyle Richards had mentioned that deciding on her return for season 14 would be a last-minute decision. Armstrong remarked that it might be beneficial for Richards to take a year off from the show to relax and focus on her happiness amidst other life events. Armstrong noted that Richards has been on the show for a long time and might find it challenging to step away, but a break could be beneficial in the long run. Despite not watching the show, Armstrong continues to cheer for her friends and former costars from the sidelines.

Armstrong’s decision to stop watching RHOBH due to the stress of watching conflicts among her friends demonstrates her commitment to prioritizing her mental and emotional well-being. She remains dedicated to empowering women through her various projects and believes in supporting her friends, even if she is no longer part of the show. As she focuses on her acting career and other ventures, Armstrong continues to advocate for women’s empowerment and positive relationships among women. Her insight into the reality TV world offers a unique perspective on the challenges and rewards of being in the public eye.
