Stephen Huszar, known for his work on Hallmark’s Everything Puppies, had a great time working with furry friends on set. He shared that he has three pets of his own and enjoys sharing the screen with animals. Huszar praised the golden retrievers he acted alongside, noting that they were well-trained and fun to work with. Despite the challenges of shooting with animals, he expressed his love for working with them in films.

The actor recalled his experience with his character’s dog, Mosey, and praised the dogs on set for being patient and well-behaved. He jokingly mentioned that the dogs were more trained than he was when he first started acting, giving credit to their skills. Huszar found the puppies featured in the film to be cute and sweet, comparing their presence to the delightful smell of babies. He enjoyed seeing them on set every day and appreciated their charm.

In addition to furry costars, Huszar also worked with Pascal Lamothe-Kipnes, who played dog treat creator Scarlett in the movie. He described her as a great and professional actress, highlighting their chemistry on screen. The actors met for the first time on set and rehearsed with their respective dogs to prepare for their scenes. They also underwent training for a rock climbing sequence in the film, ensuring their comfort and safety during filming.

Huszar shared that he hopes viewers take away the message of supporting dreams and believing in oneself from the movie. He emphasized the importance of believing in one’s ideas and persisting in pursuing them, as others will eventually support and rally behind them. The underlying message of the film is about following one’s dreams and staying committed to them. Everything Puppies premiered on Hallmark Channel on May 18th, showcasing the journey of Scarlett and the positive message of perseverance and belief in oneself.
