The Valley season 1, a spinoff of Vanderpump Rules, has only just begun to showcase drama according to cast member Brittany Cartwright. The new series follows Brittany and her now-estranged husband Jax Taylor, along with their friends, as they trade Los Angeles city life for the suburbs. The show also focuses on their family dynamic as they navigate parenting their 2-year-old son Cruz. Brittany expressed that the show captures a different side of their lives as they were in a good place in their marriage and excited to show their family life on screen, having been married for over four years.

Despite the positive outlook during filming, Brittany and Jax have since separated but continue to co-parent their son. The show also features their co-stars Kristen Doute, Luke Broderick, Danny Booko, Nia Booko, Jesse Lally, Michelle Lally, Janet Caperna, Jason Caperna, Jasmine Goode, and Zack Wickham. In the first few episodes, Jax casts doubt on Kristen’s relationship and even invites her ex-boyfriend Alex Menache to a gathering, causing tension among the group.

Brittany revealed that she and Jax were not initially close to Luke at the beginning of filming, as he was in a new relationship with Kristen and spent time in Colorado. However, she now considers Luke a good friend and supports his relationship with Kristen, despite initial reservations. Brittany theorized that Jax’s skepticism towards Kristen’s relationship stemmed from her quick transition from one relationship to another, with Kristen already expressing a desire to have children after her split from Alex in 2022. However, Brittany acknowledged that Jax may have gone too far with his criticism of Kristen’s relationship.

The relationship dynamics and drama within the group continue to unfold as the season progresses, with tensions running high between various cast members. The show airs on Bravo on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET, offering viewers a glimpse into the personal lives and relationships of the reality TV stars. Despite the challenges faced by the cast, they continue to navigate their friendships, relationships, and personal struggles while being in the spotlight and dealing with the repercussions of their actions. With ongoing conflicts and drama promised as the season progresses, viewers can expect more twists and turns in the lives of the cast members of The Valley.
