Olympian Allyson Felix, now retired from competing, is taking on a new role as a supporter of women in sports. She has expressed admiration for athletes like Simone Biles and Caitlin Clark, and believes that it is a great time for women’s sports. Felix, a seven-time Olympic gold medalist, sees the current era as an “incredible moment” for female athletes, with Clark making a mark in the WNBA and proving that women can play just as hard as men.

Despite no longer competing, Felix remains an inspiration to women athletes both on and off the field. She is transitioning to life after sports as a mother, raising her two children with her husband Kenneth Ferguson. Felix admitted that it has been a strange feeling not competing, especially after being in the sport for so many years. She plans on taking her kids to the next Olympic Games in Paris to cheer on her fellow athletes, experiencing a mix of emotions as she watches from the sidelines.

Adjusting to life as a mom of two has been challenging for Felix, as she tries to balance the demands of motherhood with maintaining a connection with her eldest daughter, Camryn. While she is excited to see her daughter explore different sports and activities, Felix is also focusing on her own projects outside of athletics. She has partnered with Cracker Jack to launch the Cracker Jill Spotlight Squad, which features five female athletes participating in various sports on the global stage this summer, aiming to raise awareness of high-achieving women in sports and inspire the next generation of girls.

Through the Cracker Jill Spotlight Squad campaign, Felix hopes to expand visibility for female athletes and share their stories with the world. By encouraging people to share the spotlight on social media, they have the chance to win a $500 prize or a $10,000 donation to organizations supporting women and girls in sports. Felix believes in the importance of highlighting and celebrating female athletes, especially during this pivotal moment for women’s sports. She is dedicated to supporting and empowering women in the sports industry, promoting their achievements and inspiring others to follow in their footsteps.
