Published posthumously, the diary has become a vital historical document.

In Ray Bradbury’s dystopian novel “Fahrenheit 451,” readers explore a world where firefighters start fires to burn books. The story follows protagonist Guy Montag, who begins to question this oppressive society after meeting a young woman named Clarisse. “To Kill a Mockingbird” by Harper Lee is a classic set in Alabama during the 1930s, following the childhood of siblings Scout and Jem Finch as their father, Atticus, defends a Black man falsely accused of rape.

“In Cold Blood” by Truman Capote is a true-crime novel that delves into the brutal murder of the Clutter family in 1959. “The Great Gatsby” by F. Scott Fitzgerald offers a glimpse into the lavish parties and mysterious life of Jay Gatsby in 1920s Long Island. “Les Misérables” by Victor Hugo and “Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass” provide further examples of classic literature that have stood the test of time. Each of these books offers readers a chance to explore different worlds, characters, and themes that continue to resonate with audiences today.
